Norwegian Sports Federation Sports Badge

Established on May 29, 1915, at a joint meeting of the national sports federation, the Norwegian Sports Federation Sports Badge has endured for over a century as a symbol of lifelong physical fitness. While its testing regimen has been revised several times, multiple sports and fitness activities can be used for testing purposes. The contemporary test uses five categories:

Category One - Regular Sport
Category Two - Precision
Category Three - Speed
Category Four - Strength
Category Five - Endurance

• Two butterfly fasteners on the back for easy placement on clothing
• Emerald green enamel in recessed area
• Three-dimensional leaves, knotwork, and berries
